Malta and Gozo Freediving trip

A few pictures and short video from our recent Malta and Gozo Freediving trip. This was a joint trip with Diveshack UK from Harrogate, and we joined Diveshack Malta . We organise many such mini trips for students on request. This one was to complete the AIDA 3 intermediate course and continue Monofin Constant weight training for one athlete in training.

We dived several sites, most easily accessible from shore without the need for a boat, we take all freediving and freediving safety equipment out with us. The water was 20 to 30metres visibility every day we dived, so diving the big wrecks out there is really special.

We met up with friends, and socialised in the evenings

Diveshack UK and Apneists UK in Malta / Gozo

We stayed in the Sliema area, the whole island, and also the island of Gozo, is easy to navigate around due to its size. It also means that almost whatever the wind direction you can find shelter on one of the sides.
